The primary gear reduction of the F-1 operator is achieved by use of a sealed helical-bevel, high precision class 9 gear. The motor is of the highest quality, using class F insulation for safety. Further, the way the motor is constructed reduces arching and extends the life expectancy of the brushes.
The Intelligent Obstruction Sensor, the smooth control of the operational speed of the gate, the self-adjustment to environmental changes, the fast and accurate reading of various signals involving a gate installation along with an indicator control are managed, captured, monitored and executed by a very high speed multitasking processor. The multitasking process is capable of acquiring, computing, filtering and making adaptive decisions in real time, making the Viking F-1 gate operator a very intelligent access control solution.
