MillerEdge Gate Edges & Door Edges

Attached to the leading edge of motor-driven doors and gates, the ME120 and the MGS20 electrically activated Sensing Edges offer the most reliable reversing feature available. They contain two completely flexible, conductive contact elements separated by perforated foam.

When touch-activated, the soft foam cushion inside the Sensing Edge compresses, causing the internal contacts to meet and immediately send an electrical signal to stop or reverse the motor.

Both of these Sensing Edge provide a secure, weather-tight seal and conform to the floor surface. The inner foam provides more insulation than typical hollow rubber loop seals. In many applications, installation is as easy as sliding out the existing seal, sliding in the Sensing Edge and wiring to the motor controls.


ME120: When touched, the electrically activated ME120 edge sensor immediately signals the gate operator to stop and/or reverse. Designed for use in a wide variety of applications, the ME120 Sensing Edge is extremely durable and can be used indoor or outdoor. It is resistant to water, flame, and common greases and oils.

MGS20: Designed specifically for easy installation on standard 2" round or square frames, the MGS20 offers 3-sided activation for an added measure of protection. When touched, the electrically activated MGS20 edge sensor immediately signals the gate operator to stop and/or reverse. The MGS20 is further built with a sleek design so that it will not detract from the appearance of the gate.


For wireless use, get the MultiCode 3022 Transmitter and Multicode 3028 Receiver.
