BFT Joint Residential Swing

The BFT Joint provides an indispensable automation system for swing gates installed on particularly large pillars with a maximum gate leaf of 550 pounds and 10-feet. Featuring an articulated arm, this product has an immediate advantage in ease of installation and flexibility in placement.

The drive arm with its special anti-shearing shape allows the leaves to be moved when the controller is positioned well away from their fulcrum. The irreversible electromechanical reduction gear keeps the gate locked in the closing and opening positions.

The BFT Joint must be combined with a control unit equipped with a torque limiter such as the Aries model control unit. The adjustable limit micro switches and capacitor are connected to the motor.
